A little extra funding right where it is needed most
Do you ever wonder why it is so hard to get in to see your physician? Why it is impossible to talk to a doctor on the phone, or why visits seem so rushed? It's all about the money. No physician actually wants to practice in a hectic, assembly-line environment. And no patient wants to wait two weeks to get 6 minutes of a doctor's time. The pressure to keep costs down and efficiency high means that patients are the biggest losers in the current health care crisis. True, there have been many fantastic advances in hi-tech procedures and treatments, but technology is expensive. There is not a lot of money left over after heart transplants and brain surgery for good, old-fashioned doctoring.

The solution is to recognize that insurance simply can't pay for all the care you might need at the level of service you expect. The extras, like flexible, open appointment scheduling, easy telephone and email access to your doctor, and extended length visits are not covered or paid for by insurance, but these non-covered services make a huge difference in your care and the way you are treated in a doctor's office. The monthly fee supports these non-covered services for all patients in our practice.

Premium services...............................$135 per month
Spouse or other household member.....$125 per month

We bill insurance for covered services, for example if you come in for a sore throat, and we collect co-payments and deductibles just like any other doctor's office. The difference is that the extra fee provides for all the non-covered "extras" that you cannot receive elsewhere.

Our office is a participating provider whenever possible for most insurance plans. But it does not matter if we are "in network" or "out of network." We always accept the insurance company allowed amount as payment in full.

Patients on Medicare also pay just $135 monthly, but we have a special contracting process which is required by the Federal government to accommodate Medicare patients. Click here for details.

We never require money in advance (we bill at the end of each month after you have been receiving care) and patients are under absolutely no obligation to remain in the practice. You may cancel at any time for any reason. All it takes is a phone call.
